The Internet Rewards Loudness. My Art Has Never Been Loud.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm creating in the wrong era. Everywhere I look, it feels like the loudest voices are rewarded. Faster videos. Bigger opinions. Constant posting. My work has never been like that. It has always been slow, gentle and quiet. Sometimes I question whether that's enough.
The Internet Makes Quiet Work Feel Invisible
I didn't realise how much I was comparing myself until I caught myself doing it. I started feeling pressure to create content instead of creating art. I wondered if I should be louder to be noticed. I found myself spending more time thinking about algorithms than flowers. Comparison slowly steals confidence, and I didn't even notice it happening at first.
But here's the thing: I didn't stop loving what I do. I just stopped hearing my own voice.
The Flowers Reminded Me What Really Matters
Every bouquet that arrives tells a different story. Weddings, anniversaries, memorials and celebrations don't need loudness. These moments ask for care, patience and respect. That's exactly how I want my work to feel.
Flowers have never rushed. Neither have I.

Creating Slowly Became My Strength
Pressing flowers can't be hurried. Every bloom teaches patience. Every frame is arranged by hand. Every piece is created to tell one person's story. I realised my work isn't meant to compete for attention. It's meant to bring someone comfort every time they walk past it.
Quiet Doesn't Mean Unnoticed
The internet often celebrates what's new. But the people I work with are looking for something completely different. They're looking for something that lasts. Something they don't have to throw away. Something made to live on their walls, not in a box.
That reminded me I'm not creating for an algorithm. I'm creating for someone's future self. The person who will look at that pressed flower frame ten years from now and remember exactly how that day felt.
What I've Learned
Now, when I feel myself getting caught up in what everyone else is doing, I come back to one simple question: Would I still make this if nobody ever saw it online?
If the answer is yes, I'm exactly where I need to be. Because that's where my best work has always come from. Not trends. Not numbers. Not trying to be louder. Just creating something that feels honest.
The world doesn't always need more noise. Sometimes it needs something created slowly, thoughtfully and with heart. Just like nature does.
If you've been holding onto flowers from a moment that changed your life, I'd love to help you turn them into a keepsake to treasure forever.
